Schedule Details

Day 1: Islamabad – Chilas/Naran

  • Departure via motorway

  • Breakfast at Besham

  • Overnight stay and dinner at Chilas, Jaglot, or Gilgit (depending on travel time)

  • Note: Road conditions from Dasu to Chilas may cause delays due to construction

Day 2: Skardu – Shangrila Lake – Upper Kachura

 

  • Breakfast, then departure for Skardu

  • Visit Three Junction, Kachura Valley, Shangrila Lake & Resort, Upper Kachura Valley, Upper Kachura Lake

  • Dinner and night stay in Skardu

Day 3: Khaplu Valley – Sarfaranga Cold Desert

 

  • Breakfast, then visit Kharmang Valley, Chumandu (where Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindukush meet)

  • Visit Manthoka Waterfall, Khaplu Valley, Pakistan’s largest cherry garden (subject to approval)

  • If time allows, visit Shigar Valley and Sarfaranga Cold Desert

  • Dinner and night stay in Skardu

Day 4: Deosai/Basho Valley

 

  • Breakfast, then visit Deosai National Park (jeep rental paid by participants)

  • Visit Sadpara Lake, Ali Malik Top, Bara Pani, Kala Pani, Sheosar Lake

  • If Deosai is closed, visit Basho Valley instead

  • Night stay, dinner, bonfire, and musical evening in Skardu

Day 5: Shigar Valley – Sarfaranga Cold Desert/Return

 

  • Breakfast, visit Shigar Valley and Sarfaranga Cold Desert (if not visited earlier)

  • Night stay and dinner in Jaglot, Chilas, or Besham

Day 6: Return to Respective Cities

 

  • Breakfast, then departure for respective cities
